We Started With A Simple Question

Why does seasonal investing feel so complicated? Back in 2019, a group of us were sitting around discussing how market patterns repeat themselves—but most people miss them entirely. Not because they're not smart enough. Because the information was scattered, expensive, or buried in jargon that made your eyes glaze over.

Financial analysis workspace with seasonal market data

From Frustration To Foundation

We weren't satisfied with the usual financial advice that gets recycled year after year. You know the type—dry reports, contradictory recommendations, strategies that work until they suddenly don't. So we decided to focus on something with actual historical backing: seasonal patterns in markets.

Turns out, certain sectors perform better at specific times of year. Energy stocks often move differently in winter than summer. Retail behaves predictably around holiday periods. Agriculture follows crop cycles. This isn't magic—it's data you can track and understand.

What started as casual conversations turned into months of research. We built models, tested theories, and honestly threw out half our ideas when they didn't hold up. But what remained was solid enough to build on.

By 2021, we had enough confidence to turn this into something real. Not just for ourselves, but for anyone tired of generic investment advice that ignores time-based market behaviour.

How We Actually Work

We're not here to sell you dreams. We focus on clear information about seasonal market trends, presented in ways that don't require a finance degree to understand.

Market trend analysis and seasonal patterns research

Research That Actually Matters

We track decades of market data to identify genuine seasonal patterns. This means looking at energy consumption cycles, agricultural timing, consumer spending habits—all the stuff that influences markets on predictable schedules.

Our team spends time reviewing historical performance across different sectors and timeframes. We're looking for consistency, not one-off flukes. And when something changes—new regulations, shifting consumer behaviour—we adapt our analysis.

  • Historical data spanning 20+ years across major sectors
  • Monthly pattern reviews and quarterly deep dives
  • Real-world event correlation with market movements
Educational content and investment strategy materials

Education Over Hype

We believe understanding why something happens is more valuable than just being told what to do. That's why our content focuses on teaching the principles behind seasonal investing rather than pushing specific trades.

You'll find breakdowns of how weather patterns affect energy demand, how cultural events drive retail performance, and how global supply chains create timing opportunities. The goal is to help you spot these patterns yourself.

  • Detailed sector analysis with real examples
  • Clear explanations of seasonal factors and timing
  • Ongoing education as markets evolve

Eldar Thoresson

Lead Research Analyst

I've been tracking market patterns since 2013, initially as a side project while working in financial data analysis. The more I dug into seasonal trends, the more convinced I became that this was a perspective most investors were ignoring.

What drives me is finding clarity in complex systems. Markets aren't random—they respond to predictable factors like weather, holidays, harvest cycles. Once you see those patterns, everything makes more sense.

These days I spend most of my time reviewing sector performance data and writing analysis that hopefully makes sense to people outside the finance bubble. I'm based in Wicklow, where I enjoy running along the coast when I'm not buried in spreadsheets.
